Tzatziki
Tzatziki sauce is the dipping sauce you didn’t know you needed in your life. Slather it, schmear it, or just eat it with a spoon. This Greek sauce will become a staple in your kitchen, just like it has become in mine.
Pronunciation: tah-zi-ki
Naturally light in nature because it’s made with Greek Yogurt (duh), this is the perfect saucy additive for your healthy diet. You can do *literally* whatever you want with it. Super low in fat and carbs, you will be happy to have this in your arsenal of healthy recipes. It’s also light in ingredients which is great for us home cooks.
Literally: my husbands least favorite word in the English language.
Put it on a sandwich (or pita if you want to be a Greek-ophile), dip veggies in it (especially cherry tomatoes), serve it alongside grilled chicken, any other kind of protein, or any other possibility you can dream up.
Make this easy tabbouleh with your chicken, tzatziki & pita and you're all set.
Let me know if you love tzatziki as much as I do! And if you have any favorite Greek recipes, send them my way! I’m loving the fresh Mediterranean foods right now.
